BACK FROM THE WORLD SOUNDTRACK AWARDS
Just to let everyone know, I'm back from the World Soundtrack Awards.
While Powell didn't win the award for Soundtrack Composer of the Year (it went to Alberto Iglesias), the second half of the concert consisted primarily of his music, with suites from "The Bourne Identity", "X-Men: The Last Stand", "Endurance", "Two Weeks Notice", "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and "Ice Age: The Meltdown", with X-Men and Ice Age being the most impressive.
Expect a large report of the evening in a couple of days!
